Shown in the photo is the l.s. of the flower of Euphorbia milii. Belonging to the genus Euphorbia, the plant exhibits a cyathium inflorescence, which consists of a cup-shaped involucre containing both female and male flowers. As seen from the photo, one single female flower in the centre is surrounded by male flowers and the flowers are circled by the green nectar glands and their crimson appendages.
Very good effort in labelling. Unfortunately, the picture is a bit blurry.
