Rosemary belongs to the family Labiatae. According to the pictures, there are 2 stamens and 1 pistil, therefore, it is a bisexuel flower. Besides, the stamens are attached to the petals, so they are epipetalous. I know that rosemary is actually a kind of spice in the kitchen, but where does their smell come from? Does it come from their leaves, seeds or elsewhere?

It is a kind of herb and it is aromatic. It can be seen that in the photo, the corolla is bilabiate, which is a feature of this family. It means that the limb is divided into 2 lips. This type of corolla is zygomorphic.

Besides, being used as spice, it is also used as ornamental plant and Chinese medicine.
