Description

Juniperus chinensis, possibly Juniperus chinensis L. 'Kaizuca' 龍柏 
-Two types of leaves from the same tree: scalelike leaves and needlelike leaves.
-Scalelike leaves: decussate and closely appressed. 
-Needle leaves: whorls of three can be observed in this specimen.
-Both type of leaves show 2 white stomatal bands on the adaxial side.
