Description

Salvia splendens belongs to Lamiaceae.
It has epipetalous stamens means that the stamens are attached to petal. 
It has 4 stamens, but only 2 are fertile. Another 2 are staminodes (infertile stamen).
For each fertile stamen, it only contains 1 anther, the anther on the other side is reduced.
