Description

Dimocarpus longan Lour. is in the family Sapindaceae. The tree is having a round-topped crown of dense leaves which can be grown up to 40m. Its flowers are pale yellow to yellow-brown and fragrant, and the petals are without hairs. Despite the fruit of Longan can be eaten by us, the trunk of Longan is also a good source of timber.
