Description

Rhodomyrtus tomentosa also known as rose myrtle, is a species in the family Myrtaceae. Leaves are simple, exstipulate, with intramarginal veins near the leaf margin. It is a common shrub species that can be found in shrubland and grassland in Hong Kong. They are fire-tolerant as they can generate from the woody stem base after being damaged by fire.
