Description

Canna indica belongs to family Cannaceae. It has monoecious flowers with asymmetric arrangement. It has 3 sepals, 3 fused petals, 5 petaloid stamens, and 1 anther-consisting stamen (another one is sterile). It has inferior ovary with 3 carpels and in axile placentation.
