Description
Bauhinia variegata belongs to family Caesalpiniaceae. It is monoecious with bisexual flowers. The flowers are arranged in corymbose-like inflorescence, bilaterally symmetrical. It has five petals. The calyx is fused. It has 5 stamens and 1-5 staminodes.
