Description

Dendrobium 石斛 is a genus in the family Orchidaceae. 

Each flower of Dendrobium contains 6 tepals and one of the tepals is modified into a labellum/lip. Only one stamen fused with style to form a column. 
Column--filaments of the stamens adnate to the style. The ovary has 3 locules and the placentation is parietal as the ovules are attached to the walls of the ovary.
