Description

Pinus massoniana (馬尾松). The species is monecious - one single "household" with both female and male reproductive parts. The female cone occupies a position equivalent to the long shoot while the male cone occupies a position to a short shoot (a fascicle). Both the fascicle and  male cone are subtended by a bract.
