Very interesting information. I checked the website and this could be the Marsilea hirsuta, which has two forms: submergent (shown in the photo) and emergent form (the clover-like, simialr to those shown in the class). Just wonder if the plant is placed back to the emergent position, will the newly developed leaf be spoon-shaped or clover-shaped? Maybe you can conduct this experiment and then share your result in biophotosharing.
