Description
This is Argyranthemum frutescens, from family Asteraceae, showing the inflorescence of Head (Capitulum). Head (Capitulum) is a short dense spike in which the flowers are borne directly on a broad, flat peduncle. It is a kind of indeterminate inflorescence. It is a distinctive (but not exclusive) feature of Asteraceae.
