Description
The picture feature the Chrysanthemum frutescens in SC 392. One defining feature of Compositae is the stamen arrangement- syngenesious. It means fused anthers.With the fusion of anther, stamen are epipetalous. From the microscopic image , we can observe the tubular corolla in more detail.Ovary, epipetalous stamen and style with stigma are shown.
