Description

The dehiscent cap present on the tip of Sphagnum sp. sporophyte is operculum which is diploidy. Spores can be observed  which are numerous tiny dots surrounded by epidermis in this photo.
Long stick-like pseudopodium connects with foot and foot is connected with the oval sporangium.
