Description

This is the Shiitake that is commonly found and consumed by us.
I took this photo before my mum is going to boil it. It has a high nutritional value and taste good. It belongs to division Basidiomycota. Basidiomycota are filamentous fungi composed of hyphae , and reproduce sexually by the formation of specialized club-shaped basidia that normally bear four basidiospores. However, some Basidiomycota reproduce asexually too.
