"Bilabiate" refers to the structure having two lips or liplike parts, as the corolla of some flowers. (Random House Kernerman Webster's College Dictionary) Many plants in family Labiatae shows bilabiate corolla. The photo shows the species of Salvia splendens, which belongs to the family Labiatae. For each flower, the corolla has two liplike parts.
