Description

Cyme is one of the inflorescences. There is a main axis holding the oldest flower. And there are one or more branches growing out from the side of the main axis. 
The flowers in the left photo show dichasium with two opposite branches on the main axis. It is also a compound cyme.
The flowers in the right photo show scorpioid cyme in monochasium with only one branch per node.
