Description
The photo shows the petaloid of family Cannaceae. The petaloid are actually petaloid stamen which modified from normal stamen. The petaloid stamen also contain bright color which look similar to sepal. The flower from the photo actually contain three petals, three petals, five petaloid stamens and one anther-consisting stamen.
