Description

This is an unopened dehiscent capsule, the fruit of Tabebuia chrysantha. It is a pod-like brown young capsule with seeds inside, which will split into 2 slits, explode and release seeds when mature. 

Capsule is a dry fruit that contains three or more locules, which will split open to release seeds.
