Yes, the ploidity of the thallus is n. Marchantia can be commonly found in moist environment. The dichotomously branched gametophytes of this organism are unisexual and the two types of gametophytes can be easily distinguished by their gametophores. In this photo, the umbrella-like archegoniophore was shown. It is found on the female gametophytes. As for the male gametophytes, it can be identified by its disk-like antheridiophores.
