Description

Sporangia are formed during asexual reproduction of Rhizopus sp., a genus belonging to Zygomycota.

Sporangia are sphere in shape, and located on the tips of sporangiophores. Spores are formed inside the sporangia. Columella, locating at the base of the sporangia, are responsible for nutrients supply for the spores.
