Description

Petaloid is the resembling of petal. This a photo of a flower of Cannnaceae sp. The photo shows 5 petaloid stamens and 1 anther consisting stamen, and one petaloid style. There are only 3 real petals on the outermost layer and they are not as brightly colored as the petaloids.

Wrong labelling for petaloid style.

Most petaloid stamens are actually petaloid staminodes.
