Description

(Right) This is the microscopic image of a syngenesious stamens, which refers to the condition that stamens are united by the fusion of their anthers, while their filaments remain separated and free. (Left) The photo shows a floral part of a species from compositae, whose tubular flowers (yellow part) within the capitulum have epipetalous stamens with fused anthers(syngenesious).
