Description

Common name: Java Tea, Cat's whisky 貓須草， 腎草，化石草
Family：Lamiaceae 唇形科

Perennial herb and grow in the form of shrub. Opposite leaves
It is angiosperms, flowering seed plants, and dicotyledon.

The original five petals, upper three petals merged together to form a shape of the upper lip, and the lower two petals merged together to form the lower lip, so it is put under the family Lamiaceae. 

The flower is in white colour, with long hairy whisker-like stamens and pistils which contributed to the common name Cat's whisky.

This herb is medicinal that drinking the boiled water with its leaves can stimulate urination, and to treat bladder and kidney pain.
