Description

Ranunculus bulbosus, well-known as Bulbous Buttercup. It belongs to the family Family Ranunculaceae. 

This plant is not commonly found in Hong Kong, while these are the pictures taken in the UK, Devon. It was shared by my friend, who was having a walk in the grassland in mid-April.

The flower exhibits actinomorphic, bisexual flower, with 5 golden–bright yellow petals, and also 5 recurved sepals, with numerous stamens. It has cyme Inflorescence. 

For the leaves, it has lobed, and long-petioled basal leaves.
