Description

It belongs to order Malvales, family Malvaceae 
It has other name like Chinese hibiscus, China rose, shoeblackplant
They usually have 5 sepal, 5 unfused petal along with numerous stamen attached to a single pistil and we define it as 'monadelphous stamen'
In Floriography, it means the beauty of consideration 
They are eatable and ofter used as Chinese medicine

Monadelphous stamen is a result of connation among stamens, though some degree of adnation between androecium and gynoecium can be observed in this flower.
