Description
Strawberry, a plant from Rosaceae, Fragaria. It is a common fruit consumed by humans. The strawberry is an aggregate fruit, of which the edible part is actually developed from its receptacle, and the actual fruit are achenes on it. The flower of Fragaria has 5 petals, which is typical in Rosaceae. Stigmas and stamens numerous.
