Description

A member of Casuarinaceae (木麻黃科). From the branch, you can observe the plant is monoecious; however, the flowers are unisexual; more, the female and male inflorescences are different, female: head/ capitulum, male: spike. 

Leaves: whorled, scale leaves
Male flower: 2 celled anther (reddish brown)
Female flower: 2 stigmas and no perianth
Fruit type: samara
