Description

Hibiscus schizopetalus belongs to the Malvaceae family. It has monadelphous stamens with connation of filaments but not fusion of anther. It shows alternate leaves. 

Fun fact:
Flower has 5 split petals and are hanged on a long pedicels. This explains the complicated looking petals on top.
