Description

Machilus pauhoi Kanehira (Lauraceae) is a native species in Hong Kong. To identify, simple, alternate leaves can be observed, which pinnately veined. Hermaphrodite flowers show panicle inflorescence with 9 distinct stamens. Ovary superior. Drupe fruits can be produced in black colour if mature.
